Peacefully set on the banks of the River Lark, this detached Scandinavian style lodge lies in a quiet marina.The Riverside Island marina complex is set in woodlands, with a one mile circular walk around the island, wandering through shaded tree-lined paths.
The lodge occupies one of only 8 ,sought after, corner plot locations in the marina.With its decked balcony and fishing from the garden,it offers the ideal waterside location with free use of canoes and rowing boats.Good walks and bird watching abound.
The lodge has been recommended in the Daily Telegraph travel section (see LINKS PAGE for "Britain's best cottages with moorings" article) and is also available for location hire for film,TV,Video and stills photographs.We now also offer broadband with at certain times free UK landline /mobiles and international calls (see facilities section for full details).
Cambridge (20 miles) boasts a wealth of culture and history.Ely, Newmarket races,Wicken Fen and Thetford Forest are all under 15 miles.Stansted airport 33 miles.Village pubs,takeways and shops 1 mile.
